Here are a few different
raises to blend in with your game. Don't do
these all the time mix them up and use
them when the time is right
Blind Stealing
When played correctly blind stealing is
great but don't try it to often as people
will get wise to this move. it is best
performed sat in the dealers position when
everyone else has folded and their is just
you and the blinds left in. you should raise
5x the big blind.
An Opener An opener is
mostly done by bluffers when the one who
goes first raises making other players call
2x big blind at once. the intension of An
Opener is to limit the amount of players who
enter the flop. this move ends up as a
backward steal play, it will certainly make
most of the players fold and the only ones
left in will be good hands or aggressive
players. This is also known as betting for
info and is best used with fewer players.
Steal Raise
If everyone has checked and your last to
play making a bet to limit the amount of
players or take the pot is called a steal
raise do not do this to often as good
players will know spot this and start check
raising you. The best time to try a steal
raise is when your on a draw
Check Raise
A check raise is where you check a strong
hand in the hope your opponent will try a
bluff when they raise you reraise. |
