Playing the turn as some call
it, is where the pot really starts to build
and the dollar signs start to flash in your
eyes when your sat with a monster hand.
The 4th street is where a
lot of good hands are formed and where you
want to be getting rid of those who didnt
fold to your raise on the flop, as you don't
really need to be having a showdown unless
you have the nuts. Because if there fishing
they may hit their flush or straight they
are going for. Winning a few chips is better
than losing a lot.
If you have followed the
good poker card list and have good poker
cards and have played good on the flop you
should have a good idea if your in front or
behind now. if your in front then bet but if
your behind then get out.
As a rule of the 4th
street then bet top build the pot up. But if
you think you are behind then this is the
time to let go as you will be just chucking
money away as this is where people start to
make the big bets to get rid of the fishes.
Say you hold QQ and bet
big before and after the flop and the turn
brings K37A 3 of which are Clubs and you
hold the two red Queens hearts and diamonds
if someone bets a fair amount i would fold
and forget the money that ive put in
as it is likely I'm going to be in front
there is 2 over cards which means there are
a possible 2 higher pairs out also someone
could have a flush or a very good chance of
getting one. also someone could make a
straight on the river. That is a lot of ways
I could get beat.
Now lets look at how many
outs i have to take the pot down the best
hand would be to get another Queen on the
river is it worth calling to get one of two
remaining cards even if she comes you could
get beat by a higher 3 of a kind AAA or KKK
a straight or a flush.
If you play good play
before the flop and after this will give you
an idea of how good your hand is.
Go with your gut feeling
if you think your ahead then bet if you
think your behind get out unless you are
getting good pot odds
DONT PRAY FOR MIRACLE
CARDS POKER GODS DONT ALWAYS HEAR YOU.
